Gogul B: Software Associate

When I joined Trinet Technologies as a Software Associate, I wanted more than just a desk and a list of tasks; I wanted to work on real problems. My role bridges learning and doing. One day, I’m figuring out how to debug a tricky error, and the next, I’m writing a new feature that goes live for actual users.

Early on, I was surprised at how quickly I got to contribute to live projects. The team here values clean, readable code, and they never make you feel small for asking questions. In fact, curiosity is encouraged. That has helped me grow faster than I expected.

What I do day-to-day:

  • Write and maintain code in Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Collaborate with senior developers and testers to improve systems.
  • Take part in code reviews, stand-ups, and sprint planning.
  • Use tools like Git, JIRA, and VS Code to manage my work.
  • Troubleshoot bugs, write test cases, and support deployments.
  • Keep learning best practices and applying them to real projects.

Outside of work, I love solving puzzles as they keep my brain sharp and my patience sharper. I enjoy hanging out with friends, and if you catch me on the right day, I might even sing you a song. I’m also a huge fan of The Office, and yes, I proudly claim the title of “the Dwight” in my team.

Working here has been about building my skills while contributing meaningfully, and I’m excited for the challenges ahead.

“I might be the ‘Dwight’ of the team, but I take my work and my jokes very seriously.”
