NRMA Transforms Customer Engagement with Oracle Cloud

The National Roads and Motorists’ Association (NRMA), one of Australia’s most trusted membership organizations, embarked on a strategic digital transformation initiative to broaden its service offerings and improve customer engagement. With shifting demographics, increasing expectations for real-time access, and a growing digital-savvy member base, NRMA recognized the need for a more agile infrastructure. Seamless Cloud Migration with Trinet’s Expertise

NRMA partnered with Trinet Technologies to execute a full-scale migration of its Oracle applications—spanning eight mission-critical apps and nine environments—to OCI. Trinet’s cloud engineering team implemented an Infrastructure-as-Code approach, ensuring a highly automated, secure, and repeatable deployment process. The project covered complete system testing, disaster recovery planning, and go-live support, all delivered within an eight-month timeline despite the constraints of a global pandemic.

This move allowed NRMA to transition from costly on-premises infrastructure to a flexible cloud environment, reducing capital expenditure and supporting dynamic resource scaling.

By modernizing its IT landscape, NRMA now enables faster access to services via mobile and web platforms. This includes on-demand roadside assistance, personalized travel benefits, and lifestyle services—all integrated across the customer journey. With more Australians relying on smartphones, NRMA leverages cloud agility to deliver updates and services in real-time, minimizing wait times and improving member satisfaction.
