Powering Global Logistics with Resilient Infrastructure

Allcargo Logistics, one of India’s largest integrated logistics providers with a global presence in over 160 countries, was at a turning point in its digital transformation journey. As the logistics industry evolved rapidly with the rise of e-commerce, supply chain intelligence, and real-time data demands, Allcargo realized its legacy infrastructure could no longer keep pace with its ambitious global goals.

Their systems were fragmented across geographies, burdened with high maintenance costs, limited scalability, and frequent performance bottlenecks. This created inefficiencies across cargo handling, shipment tracking, customer service, and internal operations. Allcargo’s leadership knew that to remain competitive and deliver on global SLAs, they needed a resilient, agile, and secure IT foundation. That’s when they chose to partner with Trinet Technologies.

The Challenge

Allcargo’s infrastructure was a mix of legacy data centers and on-premises workloads, operating in silos across multiple international locations. These included region-specific systems with inconsistent security protocols, unreliable uptime, and outdated hardware that increased the risk of system failures.

The challenges were multifaceted. Key issues included prolonged disaster recovery times, underutilized resources, and a lack of centralized visibility into operations. Additionally, rapid business expansion meant onboarding new systems and locations was slow and cost-intensive. Business users often faced delays in accessing real-time logistics data, which impacted customer service and operational decision-making.

Our Approach

Trinet Technologies began with a deep-dive infrastructure audit across Allcargo’s key global locations. We assessed their existing network, server workloads, storage strategy, and security posture. Based on this, we designed a multi-phase infrastructure modernization roadmap tailored to their logistics-specific needs.

Our solution focused on migrating critical workloads to a hybrid cloud environment while centralizing monitoring and operations through a unified command center. We implemented a combination of cloud-native services on AWS and Azure, virtualized remaining on-prem workloads using VMware, and introduced containerization for deployment speed and resilience.

Security was embedded at every layer. We deployed a Zero Trust Architecture, encrypted data across all endpoints, and implemented automated disaster recovery protocols with RTOs under 15 minutes. Our global infrastructure team also established a 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC) for real-time performance tracking and incident response.

“Our work with Allcargo is a powerful reminder that strong infrastructure is not just about uptime—it is about enabling scale, responsiveness, and innovation. We are proud to help a global logistics leader move faster, work smarter, and build for what’s next.”

The Outcome

With Trinet’s infrastructure transformation, Allcargo saw a 40% reduction in IT operational costs within the first year. System uptime improved to 99.98%, ensuring seamless global logistics operations even during peak demand. Data latency was reduced by over 60%, enabling faster access to shipment insights, billing systems, and fleet management tools across continents.

More importantly, Allcargo’s internal teams were now equipped with centralized dashboards, real-time alerts, and remote access capabilities—improving productivity, collaboration, and customer service delivery. The new infrastructure also allowed them to onboard new locations and systems 50% faster, supporting their business expansion strategy.

From enhanced security compliance across geographies to better visibility into operations, Allcargo’s digital backbone is now future-ready—built to support innovations in AI, IoT, and automation as the logistics landscape evolves.
